==Personal Life== |
Lucker was born on October 8, 1984. He grew up in Riverside, California with both his parents and two siblings. He had suffered from Social Anxiety Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). He had a daughter called Kenadee Isis Lucker, who was born on June 30th 2007. Not long after, on May 8th 2010, Mitch Lucker and Jolie Carmadella got married and resided in Huntington Beach, California. |
In an interview with The AU Interview, he said the bands that influenced him into starting a band were "Korn, Deftones, Slayer, Sepultura and anything my dad brought home." He first started performing in his brother's garage band, covering a Hatebreed song he knew the lyrics to when they needed a vocalist. |

==Tattoos== |
Mitch had a love for tattoos, working in a tattoo shop as a piercer at one point in his life before Suicide Silence became as big as they have to this day. His first tattoo he got done was his shin, when he was 17. Since then, he had gone on to getting most of his body inked throughout the years, including getting an owl on his stomach, his daughter's name tattooed on his hand in a flower and his wife's name on his neck. |

==Music Career== |
Lucker first joined the band Suicide Silence in 2002, touring with the likes of Parkway Drive, Darkest Hour and The Acacia Strain. "Suicide Silence EP" was the first EP released by the band Suicide Silence. It was recorded during the summber of 2005 and released in the same year. Two years after that release and many demos later, the debut album that started getting Suicide Silence recognised "The Cleansing" was released. It became one of the biggest selling Century Media releases with 7,250 copies being sold within the first week of release. The music video for "The Price Of Beauty" was banned from the MTV playlist for being deemed too "visually and lyrically explicit. And again, two years after the release of their debut album, "No Time To Bleed" was released in 2009 in five different editions; the standard version, the Exclusive Hot Topic Edition, the iTunes edition, the vinyl edition, and the Maximum Bloodshed Edition. It is Suicide Silence's most critically acclaimed album and was re-released as No Time to Bleed: Body Bag Edition on July 1, 2010, little over a year after the record's original pressing. |
The final album before Mitch's death was released in July 2011, entitled "The Black Crown". By this time, his lyrical inspirations changed, unlike what he had wrote previously in the other albums, there were to be no controversial "anti-religious" lyrics. When asked by Kerrang! Lucker explained: "I'm not trying to put people's beliefs down - it's about me and my life. This is my head cracked open and poured on the paper! I still have the same beliefs and same views, but I'm more open to everything," he adds. "At this point in my life, I don't see the good in making people hate you for something you say. This record is for everybody." |

On October 31, before leaving home, Mitch published a photo on Twitter , where he was disguised as a skeleton for Halloween , and reported the words "The Dead Are Living". According to the reconstructions, October 31, at about 20:55, the Harley Davidson driven by Mitch Lucker was traveling on the main street of Huntington Beach (California) , when he crashed into a light pole, the motion, then, continued its stroke ending under a truck coming from the opposite side. His wife said that he had been drinking that night, Mitch. On the evening of November 1, was organized a candlelight vigil for friends and relatives which was attended by more than 300 people. During the candlelight vigil wife condemned the causes of the accident and said to the crowd: |

{{quote|"He was an alcoholic, and has been a long battle. I tried to stop that evening, I put in front of him on the doorstep, begging him not to leave. I begged him: Seriously, do it for us, do not go. But he's gone and that's what happened. Should be a wake up call for everyone. He was a wonderful man, a wonderful father and a great husband. But now it will grow Kenadee, our five year old daughter. All this because he decided to drink and drive. Do not do it. Think before you do something so stupid. Learn from this story. ." |
