Michael Altman (born August 21, 1975) is an American lightweight rower. He won a gold medal at the July 2008 World Rowing Championships in Ottensheim with the lightweight men's eight.[1] At the August 2008 Summer Olympics, he came eleventh with the lightweight coxless four.[2]

Altman received his undergraduate degree at the Walsh School of Foreign Service after graduating from Redwood High School. He went on to earn his MBA at UCLA.[citation needed]
