==Summary==
Thirteen-year-old Phoebe Harte's younger brother, Mick, gets killed in a fatal bicycle accident due to the fact that he chooses not to wear a helmet, which brings a great amount of grief and sorrow to the Harte family. The book, narrated by Phoebe herself, also shows what affect Mick's death has on his friends and schoolmates, as well as Phoebe's life and school life as well. The novel also tells about some of Phoebe's best memories of Mick, such as stories about when they were young and the pranks that Mick once pulled, as well as some as his strange choices of people he chose to dress up for Halloween as in the past (such as [[Clarence Birdseye]] and [[Thomas Crapper]]). At the end of the book is also a note from the author, warning readers to remember to wear bicycle helmets while cycling.
