He served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was Commander of the Air Group at Camp Pendelton CA during 1978/1979. |

There were 212 housing units at an average density of 189.5/sq mi (73.1/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 11.95% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 88.05% [[African American (U.S. Census)|Black]] or [[Race (United States Census)|African American]], and 0.13% [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino]]. |
