Marabounta (Code Lyoko 36)

Plot

The plot begins with the science lab where Mrs. Hertz is teaching about ants, she is showing the students an anthill enclosed in glass box, She explains about the collective intelligence of ants an how one ant can understand a few orders Odd jokes about Sissi, Ulrich asks whether killer ants could exist Miss Hertz smiles an replies saying they only exist in movies, but there are such things such as army ants an says it is best to stay out of there way. Jeremie takes keener interest stays behind for a few seconds.

In the lunch room the Lyoko Warriors are eating an talking, Aelita ask Jeremie why he looks worried he replies saying that he decoded an interesting part of France Hopper's notes an found out how to create a multiagent program that follows the principal of an ant hill he further tries to explain, when Odd stops him an saying that they already bored with Mrs. Hertz class an asks him to stop boring them. He asks them to meet up at the factory after lunch but Aelita has to finish her Italian home work, Odd has to practice for skate board competition, Yumi apologizes saying she has swimming later she walks away and Ulrich sees William leaning on to a wall an immediately says he needs to be somewhere when Jeremie asks where he says at the swimming pool he seams to be jealous. Sissi overhears him about going to the swimming pool and plan to go too. Jeremie decides to do it on his own. He goes to the factory and start programming.

Meanwhile at the swimming pool William dives in to the pool Sissi has came to the swimming pool as well Ulrich tries to dive into the swimming pool but has an diving board related accident an fall in to the water William pulls him out Yumi looks worried Jim interrupts saying he has a first-aid certificate an gives Ulrich mouth to mouth resuscitation which Yumi, William Smiles but Sissi is disgusted by it. Yumi asks him if he is alright but Ulrich gets up and leaves without saying a word.

Back at the factory Jeremie begins to test the prototype then transfers it to Lyoko it appears in the forest region and looks like a floating black bubble it then begins to replicate the program is successful Jeremie congratulates himself an praises France Hopper. He then calls Odd who just arrived with Kiwi to the dorm room after skate board practice where Ulrich has appeared to have been the whole time after the swimming pool incident.

Jeremie asks Odd to bring Aelita. Odd asks Ulrich to come he says he is not in the mood an Odd leaves saying the 'both Ulrich an his bad mood' can stay in the room if they want too. Odd arrives at the factory later with Aelita an Kiwi, Odd says Ulrich is sulking, Aelita asks what the program is Jeremie calls it is 'Marabounta' the multiagent program he had created earlier he explains to Odd that it acts like an ant hill but instead of ants they have spheres whose mission is to attack Xana's Monsters. Aelita worries about what would happen if there was a bug in the program Jeremie assures that is imposable saying 'Remember France Hopper is a Genus' Odd agrees an chooses to go to Lyoko Aelita looks worried still Jeremie say he will pull the plug as something unexpected happens.

Jeremie Transfers Odd an Aelita to Lyoko an the vehicles were materialized due insufficient where they see a crab heading towards the Marabounta to destroy it Odd an Aelita see first hand how the Marabounta devourer it's prey Aelita become sicken by the site an ask Jeremie to devirtualize her saying she has seen enough but just as she was going to head to the tower she was attacked by h Marabounta Odd fired at it to save her but the Marabounta went haywire an started to follow them Jeremie figures out why Aelita was attacked by the Marabounta Aelita is linked to Xana which causes the Marabounta to think Aelita as one Xana's monsters Jeremie try pull the plug but it seems that the Marabounta has turned autonomus Jeremie predicts that all of Lyoko will be destroyed if this continues on too long he then call Ulrich who is still in his room an doesn't pick up, So he calls Yumi who visits Ulrich dorm an tell him to shove his ego an come help his friend but Ulrich still remains in his room

Mean while Odd an Aelita reaches the tower which is reached by the Marabounta before them
