Heroes

Ben Tennyson

Ben Tennyson

Benjamin "Ben" Tennyson (voiced by Tara Strong; teenage Ben is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal) is a typical ten year-old boy — he plays video games rides his bike, and often gets into mischief.

During a walk Ben finds the Omnitrix, which latches to his arm. Unable to remove it, he uses its powers to become a super hero He finds the job trickier than he imagined, especially with the evil alien warlord Vilgax pursuing him relentlessly to retrieve the Omnitrix.

No matter what bizarre form Ben takes, inside he is still the same mischievous 10-year-old boy. He is something of a glory hog, sometimes taking credit that he does not deserve. He also tends to be a sore loser, especially when it is Gwen, whom he shares a love-hate relationship with, who outdoes him. Ben is not above using the Omnitrix to pull pranks, even during urgent situations. In spite of all this, Ben is good-hearted and will stop at nothing to protect his family or anyone in danger. Even when not in alien form, Ben's resourcefulness has saved himself and others from many a dire situation, especially when the Omnitrix cannot activate or does not provide him with the form he originally wants. He currently has 20 aliens.

Twenty years into the future (Ben is 30 by then), Ben (this version voiced by Fred Tatasciore) has become a full-time superhero. He no longer bothers to conceal his identity, as he is recognized everywhere as Ben 10,000. He also has 10,000 alien forms, hence the name, and has once again unlocked the Omnitrix function that allows him to switch forms at will. Having been fighting crime for such a long time, Ben 10,000 has grown into a more strict and serious character, though his interaction with his past self in the episode "Ben 10,000" causes him to lighten up somewhat. Ben's alien forms have aged with him, which is evident in their appearances and abilities. For example, Ben 10,000's XLR8 is noticeably taller with grey outlines in place of the ordinary blue, as well as being considerably faster also his Wildmutt looks more like the Vulpimancers in the episode "Truth". Ben eventually has a son named Ken, whom he gives an Omnitrix of his own in the episode "Ken 10". Ben seems to have completely forgotten about the master function on the Omnitrix, as seen in "Ben 10,000". He asks his future self before leaving to go back to the present, "How do I not have to be Ben anymore?" To this, Ben says,"You're gonna want to be Ben. Trust me."

Gwen Tennyson

Gwen Tennyson

Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tennyson (voiced by Meagan Smith, teenage Gwen is voiced by Ashley Johnson) is Ben's ten year-old cousin (the two share the same birthday). Gwen is the voice of reason that tries (usually unsuccessfully) to keep Ben from getting himself into trouble; Ben tends to ignore her and thinks that she has no idea when to stop nagging him. Gwen is always trying to plan ahead and calculate the consequences of their (mostly Ben's) actions, because she is convinced that Ben never thinks before he acts.

She uses her laptop to research any strange people and/or creatures they might come across. Although Gwen shares a love-hate relationship with her cousin and sometimes insults Ben with dry wit and sarcasm most of the time, she loves him as a cousin but shows him no respect.

Gwen is a capable gymnast and has had some training in martial arts. She has also shown an almost innate skill in using various complicated devices or objects, such as in the hiatus episode "Gwen 10", when Gwen gained the Omnitrix instead of Ben and proved to be far more adept in its use than he initially was.

Overall, her most notable skill is her innate, if latent, natural ability at magic. Having within her what Charmcaster calls a "magical aura", Gwen is capable of using various magical artifacts and spells. When using the magical, luck-giving Charm of Bezel, she was able to activate it instinctively, whereas Hex did not. Later on, when she gets a hold of his staff, she was able to make it fire an energy blast — according to Hex, only someone of his skill should have that ability. Gwen has only recently started to actually tap into her magical powers to help Ben using a book of spells she took from Charmcaster in the episode "A Change of Face". In the possible future of "Ben 10,000", future Gwen (voiced by Tara Strong) combination of physical and magical training leads her to become both a black belt,high IQ,and a master magician using the recreated Charms of Bezel, which makes her a hero in her own right. In "Ken 10", Ben's son, Ken, considers her as an aunt and she gives him a rock creature as a pet similar to the ones Charmcaster uses. This one, however, possesses regenerative capabilities, as seen at the end of the episode.

On two occasions, Gwen has used magical items known as the Charms of Bezel to become a superheroine by the name of Lucky Girl (bearing resemblance to the Marvel Comics character, Black Cat). At first, her ability drew from the "luck" Charm of Bezel, which gave Gwen control over the laws of probability, similar to the Marvel comic character Scarlet Witch. While wearing the charm, any action Gwen took would result in an implausible chain reaction benefiting her original intent but usually injuring Ben in the process. She later brought back her superhero identity after obtaining the Keystone of Bezel, which increased her natural abilities to superhuman levels rather than affecting her luck. Both times, Gwen was forced to retire when the Charms of Bezel were destroyed. Gwen's future self apparently learns to recreate the charms somehow, as they are an integral part of her costume.

In the live action Ben 10 film, Gwen is played by Haley Ramm.

Allies

Abel North

Abel North (voiced by John Cygan) is the actor behind Kangaroo Commando, Ben's childhood hero from the show of the same name. He appears in "Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures". Abel's show got replaced when Tim Dean made the show Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures, a poorly-made knock-off series about three of Ben's alien forms. Various accidents begin occurring shortly after Ben meets the actor, who is able to save the day in appropriate attire. Gwen suspects that Abel is actually the one causing the accidents, but his twin brother, Kane, is revealed to be responsible. Kane was actually the one who made Kangaroo Commando's gadgets and he held a grudge against Abel, who took all the credit. His name is obviously a parody of Adam West (the actor who was Batman in the live action series) and the Biblical story of Cain and Abel.

Andy and Mandy

Andy (voiced by Kim Mai Guest) and Mandy (voiced by Jennifer Hale) are twins from Camp Opinicon in the episode "Camp Fear". Although, originally, they shared everything, after being threatened by the mutated fungus their personality changed and they began to bicker with one another over whose fault it was that they were in such a bad situation. They help Gwen and Gilbert escape the assault of the Fungal Brain's minions long enough for Ben to kill it.

Aunt Vera

Vera (voiced by Miriam Flynn) is Ben's aunt, a stereotypical "senior citizen" who lives in a retirement community in the desert. The specific location is unclear. She seems to have a similar cooking taste to Max, making food that, while not as strange, is certainly unusual even for the current day and age. Her cooking habits are similar to those of women in the 1950s in that she makes gelatin molds with odd contents, such as pork chops.

It is hinted that Vera might have some knowledge of Max's strange past, as she tells Ben to keep up the good work when dealing with aliens. This may only have been done for comedic effect, however. Aunt Vera appears in the episode "Permanent Retirement" and she is mentioned in "Monster Weather" and "The Return".

Azmuth

Creator of the Omnitrix, Azmuth (voiced by Robert David Hall) is a Galvan, the same species as Grey Matter, that appears in Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix. Azmuth seems to be quite old, as he has a beard and walks with a stick.

Azmuth is very pessimistic, unwilling to shut down the Omnitrix's self-destruct at first, despite it meaning the destruction of the universe (including him), simply because he didn't believe the universe to be worth saving. This is because he invented the Omnitrix to help the aliens of the universe to better understand each other, but people like Vilgax only wanted to use it as a weapon of war. He's also very paranoid, evidenced by his creation of such a self-destruct system and the great pains he takes to hide his world from the rest of the universe. However, he lightens up and repairs the Omntirix for Ben, unlocking a new alien form, Way Big in the process. He abandons his home planet after it is attacked, taking his assistant Myaxx with him.

Camille Mann

Camille (voiced by Grey DeLisle) is of an alien race called Sludges, a shapeshifting race that has been in conflict with the Plumbers for a long time. She wants to make peace with Earth by marrying Joel, a Plumber whom she fell in love with. When her parents try to ruin the party, she takes on her humanoid form and fights off the Sludge disguised as the Best Man while Ben fights her parents.

Although her true form is shown to be the same monstrous appearance as the rest of her species, she usually prefers to stay in a more humanoid form when using her powers. Camille appears in "My Big Fat Alien Wedding".

Captain Shaw

Shaw (voiced by Jim Ward) is a sourly fisherman who relentlessly pursues the Krakken, a beast that roams the lake in which he fishes. Upon first seeing this creature, he swore to "capture" it (by means of a harpoon cannon) in order to verify his claims. This mission has earned him a less than favorable reputation among the nearby residents. Most think of him as crazy. Ben helps him to reveal the existence of the Krakken, but Shaw is unable to capture it, instead capturing Ripjaws, thinking him to be a baby Krakken, only to have him revert back into Ben. Captain Shaw appears in the episode "The Krakken". He also makes a cameo in "Monster Weather" as a pole-fishing retiree.

Carl Tennyson

Carl is Max's son, Ben's father, Gwen's uncle and Ken's grandfather. He makes his debut in Goodbye and Good Riddance. Carl works as a gas line engineer and he holds some resentment against his father. He is captured by Vilgax, but freed by Ben. He then joins Ben, Gwen and Max in fighting off Vilgax, setting off one of the gas lines and seemingly incinerating Vilgax. He and Max reconcile somewhat after that. In the live action movie Ben 10: Race Against Time, he is seen as a new-age style parent who wants Ben to have his "freedom," insisting on being called Carl, not dad, and letting Ben run off on mysterious adventures without asking questions. He seems to be even more laid back than his wife, and is seen at least twice telling her to let Ben have his fun. For instance, near the end when Ben's mother tells him to not eat too much cheese, Carl says to let "Let the kid live a little" and eat all the cheese he wants.

Cooper

Cooper is initially introduced as the grandson of one of Max's friends in the Plumbers, who the Tennysons are giving a ride home to. However, Cooper is unwittingly drawn into the fray when the Negative 10 attacks. It's later revealed that Cooper is a technopath, able to communicate with various machinery, a power that later becomes crucial in defending the Mt. Rushmore base from the Negative 10.

Cooper is voiced by Cathy Cavadini and appears in "Ben 10 vs. The Negative 10".

Devlin

Devlin is Kevin's future son. It was never explained how Devlin was born, though he mentions that his dad spent most of his childhood in the Null Void. He originally befriends Ben's son, Ken, in an attempt to free his father from the Null Void. However, while his desire to see his father is noble, Kevin doesn't see it the same way, and shoves his son aside as he focuses on destroying Ben. Heartbroken, Devlin helps the Tennysons defeat his father after being attacked by him for defending Ken, and is later adopted by the Tennyson family.

Devlin has the ability to transform himself into his father's original mutant form, while his father has since further mutated through the absorption of alien DNA. However, unlike his father at the time, Devlin can switch between his human and mutant forms at will.

Donovan Grand Smith

Donovan (voiced by Tom Kane) is one of Max's old friends. He is a successful hotel tycoon with 15 resorts worldwide. His 16th hotel was an underwater resort in the center of the Bermuda Triangle, but it was destroyed before opening to foil the plans of aliens taking residence in the area. He also made an offer with Max that would have resulted in both of them being rich. He doesn't know of Max's plumber days. At the end of the episode, Donovan mentioned that he planned to build a new 17th resort on the moon. Unlike Max, Donovan tries to mold his grandson, Eddie, in his own image. The ending of "They Lurk Below" suggests that this relationship might change, though.

Edwin Grand Smith

Edwin (voiced by Kath Soucie) is Donovan Grand Smith's grandson. Like Ben, Edwin is brave and resourceful: when facing the Bermuda Triangle aliens, Edwin displayed virtually no fear, and even saved Ben by lancing one of the aliens with an oar. Edwin is also rather mischievous, much like Ben. For example, although it was his grandfather's prized possession, Edwin took the Undersea Manta Ray out for a joy ride.

Despite all of the above, Donovan strives to make Edwin more like himself. He also was quick to deduce from Ben's absences and the simultaneous appearance of alien rescuers that these and Ben were one and the same. Edwin played a critical role in defeating the aliens of the Bermuda Triangle by rewiring the hotel's energy source to cause an implosion, at the expense of the hotel.

Frank and Lily Tennyson

Frank and Lily are Gwen's parents. They are mentioned, but not seen, in Goodbye and Good Riddance. Frank gets a new job at the end of the episode, and they relocate to Ben's home town.

The Galactic Enforcers

The Galactic Enforcers are a group of alien super heroes who act as law enforcement for the universe. The only three of them yet seen in the series make their first appearance in the episode "The Galactic Enforcers" (presumably, many more would be needed for such an organization to be effective). Its members include:

• Ultimos the Specimen Prime (voiced by Tom Kane) — The leader of his team, Ultimos is a Superman pastiche, complete with the same powers. His attitude is an ultra-strict copy of Superman, as well, as he follows the Galactic Code of Conduct too much to the letter. Earth chocolate is poisonous to his species (in essence, his kryptonite), causing his body to shrivel and turn brown.
• Synaptak (voiced by Greg Ellis) — Ostensibly the team scientist, Synaptak is a telekinetic, flying brain with an octopus-like lower body and a computerized face. He is jealous of Ben, as Tini loves him more, until he saves her, then Tini becomes interested in him and he forgives Ben.
• Tini (voiced by Vanessa Marshall) — A muscle of the three, Tini is a female Tetramand, Fourarms' species, and hence has the same powers, as well as better mastery over them. This said, her name (pronounced "tiny") might be considered a pass at humor, since she is approximately ten feet in height. She had a crush on Ben, thinking he was a true Tetramand, until Synaptak saved her life and she lost interest in him.

After arriving on Earth to arrest Sixsix and Volcanus, Ultimos grants Ben an honorary membership in their organization, the Omnitrix making him a hero by proxy. Tini develops a crush on Ben after first seeing him, Ben having inadvertently timed his transformation into Fourarms with their arrival. He makes it a point to avoid the form afterwards, despite Tini's insistence. This in turn brewed up jealously in Synaptak, who is in love with Tini. Ben, however, is perceptive enough to catch onto this and goads Synaptak into revealing his feelings for Tini, granting both their wishes.

The three appear again in "Ben 10,000", where future Ben's near-perfect policing of the entire planet leaves them basically without a job, being forced to ferry Ben's captured criminals to prison instead. After future Ben is "reformed" by his past self, he tells them to handle the Neuvo Circus Freaks in his stead. They have not appeared again in the 'present day' of the series as of yet since their appearance in "The Galactic Enforcers".

Gaterboy and Porcupine

Gaterboy and Porcupine are two mutant brothers turned pro-wrestlers. Both have, through unknown methods, gained animalistic attributes as suggested by their names (it is hinted to be genetic). They became involved with organized crime, and were forced to compete in wrestling matches in order to obtain the needed money to save their mother and their farm. After Ben won the competition, he ended up aiding them to save their mother and turned over the prize money. Gatorboy is voiced by Jason Spisak while Porcupine is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.

Gilbert

Gilbert (voiced by Jennifer Hale) is a boy who Grandpa Max almost ran over in "Camp Fear". He is from Camp Opinicon. His personality suggests he is a scaredy-cat, but shows bravery near the end.

Gluto

Pilot of the Resolution, Tetrax's ship, Gluto (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) is a gelatinous, slime-based lifeform who debuts in Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix. Gluto can shapeshift to a degree, which comes in handy when piloting a ship that requires at least three arms to run properly. Gluto wears a suit that allows him to walk on legs for better mobility. His only naturally distinct features are his three eyes and two antennae-like tentacles.

Gluto quickly develops a fondness for Gwen, who sneaked onto the Resolution, which provokes him to place himself in harm's way to help her. When Vilgax's forces invade the ship, Gluto attacks Vilgax himself, and Gluto is seemingly killed when one of Vilgax's drones explodes after he has enveloped it. Later, it is revealed that Gluto has regenerative capabilities, as he saves Gwen from vicious Floraunas before joining in during the final battle. After Vilgax is defeated, Gluto is revealed to be able to speak (and understand) English, of which Ben had been unaware; Tetrax, when questioned about Gluto's regeneration and speech ability, replies humorously, "Who knew?"

Hector

Hector (voiced by Josh Keaton) is a man who was charged to guard the Fountain of Youth by Juan Ponce de León 400 years ago. Hector is kept alive and young by its magic water. Unfortunately, Hex is able to force him to reveal its location. Hector has led a lonely existence because, if he became attached to people, they would eventually grow old and die while he would keep living without them. Hector warns a then-10 year old Grandpa Max not to long for his kind of life. When the fountain is destroyed at the end of the episode by Ben as Heatblast, Hector reveals that the effects of its water will gradually reverse themselves after a while. Therefore, he will continue to age until he dies and rejoins all of his friends from 400 years ago.

Ishiyama

Ishiyama (voiced by Keone Young) was credited as a Great Sumo Slammer Warrior in "Game Over" with the power to increase his size and strength in battle. When Ben and Gwen were sucked into the Sumo Slammer Smackdown video game, he aided them in their progress. At first he believed Ben was his arch enemy, Kenko the shape shifter, but was convinced otherwise by Gwen. He is very honorable, responding that "A Sumo never cheats!" when Ben asks him if he knows any cheat codes to help them out, but decides to make an exception (possibly due to the urgency of the situation) and show them a shortcut to the last level. He considered Gwen a far greater fighter than Ben; this may have been because of Ben's reckless efforts at impressing him as well as Ben accidentally costing him two of his lives. He and Gwen fought Kenko while Ben searched for the Upgrade token on the final level. Kenko took his last life, but Ben revived him as Upgrade. He declared that he found Max, who joined them at the last minute and was little more than a rookie, to be the greatest warrior of all for knowing that cleansing Sumo salt would reveal Kenko's true form when he disguised himself to deceive Ben and Gwen. His name is Japanese for "stone mountain".

Joel

Appearing in "My Big Fat Alien Wedding", Joel is Max's nephew and a fellow member of the Plumbers alongside Betty Jean and Gordon. Having developed a relationship with an alien Sludge named Camille (despite there being a war between the Plumbers and Sludges for years), Joel marries her in hopes of reaching a truce between the two sides. While the ceremony did not go as well as planned, thanks to the bride's parents, the marriage was made successfully with the Tennysons' aid.

Joel is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker.

Kai Green

Kai (voiced by Bettina Bush) is the granddaughter of Wes Green, a friend and former partner of Grandpa Max. She first appeared doing a dance. She was Ben's first crush, but only took interest in him after he started becoming Benwolf because she wanted to, as quoted, "train and tame him". When she admitted to this, Gwen gave her a stern talking to. She briefly reappears in Ben's dream world in "Perfect Day" as a cheerleader.

Ken Tennyson

Kenneth "Ken" Tennyson (also called "Kenny", voiced by Tara Strong) is Ben's future son, first seen in "Ken 10". Ken looks a lot like Ben did at his age, except with maroon colored hair and darker skin. Ben gives Ken an Omnitrix of his own for his tenth birthday, but only gives him access to ten forms (not his original ten) and places a limiter on it to keep Ken from trying to fight crime on his own. Ken befriends Devlin after he realizes that his overly concerned father doesn't trust him to handle criminals on his own. Near the end of the episode, Ken uses Grey Matter's intelligence to hack the Omnitrix and unlock the limiter, allowing him to cycle through his forms at will (a tactic which Ben hasn't thought of).

Ken has access to a total of ten alien forms, seven of which he either uses or have appeared before: Buzzshock, Ditto, Grey Matter, Spitter, Stinkfly, Wildvine, and XLR8. The other three are called Sandbox, Snakepit, and Shellhead, the latter only being described as a giant turtle, both in appearance and ability. Ben had originally included another unseen alien named Toepick, but Ken complained about its grossness and managed to convince his father into switching it for Grey Matter.

Krakken

The Krakken (vocal effects are done by Fred Tatasciore) is a massive sea-creature that lives in the lake Ben visits in "The Krakken". This particular Krakken seems to be a female, since it has a nest and two eggs. There are aquatic species in which the males take care of the young, but this may not be the case with the Krakken, and Ben does refer to it as a she. It is highly territorial and protective of its brood, risking just about anything to defend them and lashing out when its nest is disturbed. It initially attacks Ripjaws until it realizes he is defending the eggs.

The Krakken looks slightly similar to a plesiosaur, possibly being an off-shoot of the species. The main differences between the Krakken and a plesiosaur are that it has two tentacle-like tongues, each with a "mouth" on the end, and large skin-flaps connecting its fore-legs to its body. Also, the fact that it has legs, and very powerful ones at that, is a major difference, since Plesiosaurs had flippers. Also, Plesiosaurs generally had long necks, whereas the Krakken has a shorter neck (relatively speaking).

Laurence Wainright

Laurence is a man with brown hair and a moustache with blue clothes. Fairly well off, he owned an expensive RV which was the target of thieves. When they switched targets and stole the Rust Bucket, Ben and family commandeered his RV in order to retrieve it. Laurence was seen in "Ben 4 Good Buddy".

Laurence Wainright is voiced by Neil Ross.

Lt. Steel

Lt. Steel (voiced by Michael Gough) is the head of SACT which stands for Special Alien Containment Team. His appearance is very similar to Duke from G.I. Joe. He has had many encounters with Kevin, who was posing as the Omnitrix aliens at the time. He is very authoritative, and his men fear him enough to know not to go against any direct order from him. At first he is very suspicious of Ben and his family, but later allows them to come and go as they please. Ben ends up saving him from Kevin while in alien form. Steel returns the favor by first having his troops fire on Kevin, saving Ben's life, and by letting him go free instead of having his men attempt to take him down, too.

Later, during the Forever Knights' attempt to remove the Omnitrix by trapping Ben in a perfect dream world ("Perfect Day"), a false Lt. Steel arrives and tries to convince Ben that the real Gwen and Grandpa Max are impostors. When the illusion is exposed, Steel transforms into Enoch.

Myaxx

Azmuth's assistant, Myaxx (voiced by Vanessa Marshall) is a Chimera Sui Generis, like Vilgax. She appears in Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix.

A capable scientist, Myaxx helped to design the Omnitrix and helped to calibrate the light-absorption field that hides Azmuth's homeworld. However, he refuses to acknowedge her help in either of these matters. Myaxx, to get revenge for Azmuth's unwillingness to give her credit, encoded her own DNA into the Omnitrix in place of Azmuth's DNA signature.

Myaxx somehow ended up on the prison facility of Incarcecon after that, where Tetrax and the Tennysons track her to in search of Azmuth. Ben, mistaking her for Vilgax due to her heavy clothing and the lack of many superficial differences between male and female Chimera Sui Generis, attacks her as Upchuck, but quickly realizes his mistake. Upon discovering the Omnitrix is in his possession, she cons her way into the crew under the guise of being Azmuth, revealing herself only after being clear of the prison. She keeps herself useful by offering to lead them to Azmuth.

Though initially cowardly and self-centered, Myaxx still manages to prove helpful by placing a device on the Omnitrix to keep it from releasing any more energy discharges. She also assists in fighting Vilgax's army near the end of the film. Afterwards, Azmuth invites her to relocate with him to a new planet, which, reasoning that it couldn't be worse than going back to Incarcecon, she agrees to, despite his admittance that he will probably treat her no differently

Bellwood Plumbers

In Ben 10: Race Against Time, several characters in Ben's hometown of Bellwood are also Plumbers.

• Constantine Jacobs

Constantine Jacobs is the Plumber in charge of Eon. After Eon escaped, he was aged into a near-death state.

• Mrs. Dalton

Mrs. Dalton is a kindly café worker. She is portrayed by Aloma Wright.

• Mr. Hawkins

Mr. Hawkins is the local mailman. He is portrayed by Jeff Jensen.

• Principal White

Principal White is the man in charge of Ben's school. He is portrayed by Robert Picardo.

Sandra Tennyson

Sandra is Max's daughter-in-law, Ben's mom, Gwen's aunt and Ken's Grandma. In Ben 10: Race Against Time, she wants her son to call her "Sandra", suggesting that he have freedom. She sometimes goes against that, only to have her husband, Carl, stop her from it. She also appears in Goodbye and Good Riddance.

Technorg

Technorg (voiced by Jack Angel) is a Detrovite captured by Slix Vigma to fight in gladiator games. His strength is on par with Fourarms', likely due to several cybernetic enhancements on his left arm, and he has a large mace in place of his left hand. After Ben spares his life, Technorg pledges his life to Ben. Later, he distracts Kevin while Ben (as Cannonbolt) leaves in an escape pod.

Technorg appears in the episode "Grudge Match", and is last seen about to beat up Kevin as the Megacruiser leaves for another galaxy. The outcome of their battle remains unclear, but Kevin later assumes control of the Megacruiser while Technorg is not seen again.

Tetrax

Tetrax (voiced by Dave Fennoy), dubbed "Hoverboard" in his first appearance for his namesake flying device, is a Petrosapien mercenary, hired by Vilgax in the episode "Hunted" to take the Omnitrix from Ben. He has nearly impenetrable gray armour, a black helmet with a small, green triangle (presumably for sight) on it, and carries a large rifle. His Petrosapien physiology can manifest through the armour, allowing him to use his powers without removing it.

Unlike the other hunters, Tetrax is allied against Vilgax. Upon first discovering that Ben has the Omnitrix, he laments the fact that out of the planet's six billion inhabitants it would end up on the wrist of a child. He also berates Ben's lack of strategy in regards to its use. After helping Ben to defeat the other hunters, during which Ben learns to use the Omnitrix strategically, he decides that the Omnitrix is in good hands, allowing it to remain with Ben. He also gives Ben his hoverboard, saying that it might come in handy. Ben uses it several times throughout the series. In Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix, the hoverboard is melted in a vat of acid, but Ben is given a replacement.

Tetrax returns in Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix, where his past is explained. As a being who cared about no one but himself, he became a mercenary and ended up hiring himself out to Vilgax. When he finished the job Vilgax gave him, Vilgax created a weapon and used it to destroy the Petrosapien homeworld when they would not bow down to him. This caused Tetrax to betray his former employer, and he now works to rid the galaxy of his evil. He arrives on Earth after receiving the Omnitrix's SDM (Self Destruct Mode) signal, and takes Ben aboard his ship in search of Azmuth, the creator of the Omnitrix and the only one who can deactivate the self destruct function. Unfortunately, Tetrax's problems are multiplied when Gwen stows away aboard his ship, and Ben's transformations are revealed to accelerate the countdown.

On the planet Incarceron, Tetrax runs into Sixsix, another of the bounty hunters hired by Vilgax who ended up on the prison planet. After a brief battle, he and the Tennysons find Myaxx, Azmuth's former assistant. Because of her, Tetrax is forced to reveal that the Omnitrix's explosion will create a shock wave affecting the entire universe, instead of just the wearer as he told Ben. Myaxx then leads the group to Azmuth's compound on Xenon, where he faces Sixsix again twice before defeating him. After Vilgax is also defeated, Tetrax returns Ben and Gwen to Earth and departs. Where he will live in space remains to be seen.

Wes Green

A Native American friend of Grandpa Max, Wes (voiced by Miguel Nájera) was a Plumber and once hunted a Yetiwith him. He currently runs a museum dedicated to Native American culture on a Navajo reservation. His granddaughter, Kai, was Ben's first crush. He aided Ben and family in their efforts against the 'Yenaldooshi' alien in New Mexico.

Xylene

Xylene (voiced by Grey DeLisle), is a lizard-like alien and an old friend (and potentially former lover) of Max's whom had come to Earth to retrieve the Omnitrix in "The Visitor". She possesses powerful telekinetic abilities, allowing her to move and manipulate objects with her mind, as well as fly. Xylene was the one who sent the Omnitrix to Earth in the first place,in a spacepod,while Vilgax was firing at her in her spaceship.She had intended to send it to Max instead of Ben, believing he could keep it safe from Vilgax.

When she learns that the Omnitrix ended up with Ben, she speculates that the capsule veered off course. Having been responsible for the safekeeping of the Omnitrix, Xylene possesses in-depth knowledge of the its workings; during the climax of the episode in which she appears, she accessed the Upchuck form on the Omnitrix for Ben by entering a code into it.

Her appearance may be based on the Twi'leks of Star Wars fame.Her head has two tentacles and three eyes. Her legs are like those of a bird or more so, a small theropod dinosaur, though having a humanoid posture. Being essentially reptilian, she doesn't truly understand things like family relationships ("On my planet, once you hatch, you're on your own.") and seems to view Ben and Gwen as rivals for Max's affection rather than family members, although it is hinted she does care about them.

Neutral

These are neutral characters that are neither allies nor villains, or are not actually evil despite some selfish intentions.

Ah Puch

The Mayan god of death (Gwen complains that they never haver have things like "The Happy God Of Cheerfullness") and protector of the Sword of Ekchuah, Ah Puch is a humongous creature, dwarfing even Fourarms in size and strength with an elongated tongue, it is strong enough to send Fourarms flying with his tongue alone. He appeared in "Ultimate Weapon". He first appeared attacking the Forever Knights as they attempted to steal the sword. He was largly winning against them, but attacked Ben and company when they tried to reach the sword. He was attacked by Ben as Fourarms but despite Fourarms enormous strength, Ah Puch easily smacked Ben around until he was defeated by the Tennysons, and left unconscious in the temple as it collapsed; what became of him is unknown. Though he attacked Ben and the others, he only did so to defend the sword. His image was used for the Mask of Ah Puch, the only thing that could lead one to the sword.

Councilwoman Liang

Councilwoman Liang (voiced by Rosalind Chao) was planning a downtown redevelopment program in the episode "Side Effects". When Clancy's home is to be demolished, he tries to have his insects devour her, only to have his home accidentally wrecked by Fourarms while she escapes unharmed.

Howell Wayneright

Howell Wayneright (voiced by Larry Cedar) is obsessed with finding proof of alien life, so when he finds Grey Matter at a water park, he sees his ticket to fame. He inadvertently gives this ticket up when he turns Grey Matter over to The Organization, thinking that they'll help him spread the word. Instead, they decide to dissect Grey Matter and dispose of Howell. Howell, however, possesses enough of a conscience to find the dissection distasteful, and rescues and protects Grey Matter as a result, saying that "aliens are people too . . . well sort of". When Grey Matter reverts back to human form while Howell isn't looking, he decides to give up chasing aliens. Howell appears in the episode "A Small Problem".

Joan Maplewood

Joan Maplewood (voiced by Kath Soucie) is Todd Maplewood's mother that appeared in "Under Wraps". Max took Ben and Gwen to their farm to learn about hard work.

JT and Cash

JT and Cash are recurring bullies from Ben's school. JT (voiced by Adam Wylie) is short and wears glasses. Cash Murray (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) is taller and has darkened skin. The two take great pleasure in insulting Ben and suspending him by his underwear, though Ben returns the favor as XLR8 after coming into the possession of the Omnitrix. When they discover Ben's secret, however, they become afraid of him and are inclined to give him more respect.

JT and Cash also appear in Ben 10: Race Against Time, where they, as usual, take pleasure in picking on Ben. JT is played by Tyler Foden, while Cash is played by Tyler Patrick Jones.

Lucy

Appearing in "My Big Fat Alien Wedding", Lucy (voiced by Tara Strong) is Camille's cousin, who arrives at her wedding to serve as the flower girl (much to Gwen's disappointment, since she was originally planned to play the part). Like Camille, she too is of the Sludge race, though this isn't shown until near the end of the episode, when Ben slips on Lucy's "feet" while dancing.

Mayor of Sparksville

When Ben, Gwen, and Max first arrive at Sparksville in "Tourist Trap", they meet the mayor of the town. The Mayor (voiced by Dwight Schultz) speaks in a monotone voice with a slight southern accent and has a completely unfazeable attitude (as do most of his fellow citizens but his dwarfs all of thems combined), even as toothpicks the size of javelins are being launched into the ground around him, to which he calmly responds, "There go the world's largest toothpicks. Oh, the humanity." He also is not surprised at all by the sudden presence of Upgrade. The mayor matter-of-factly recognizes the destruction of his town as being the Megawhatt's doing, though Ben was responsible for a good portion of it.

The mayor seems to have extensive experience with the Megawhatts and how they think. About the only thing he didn't know about them is what they really were; he dismissed the explanation of their being aliens as "just plain kooky talk", despite his explanations being equally implausible. After Ben traps the multiple Megawhatts in the world's biggest goldfish bowl, the mayor promptly turns it into a new attraction: the biggest lightbulb in the world, and learning to take more care in his attractions, placing a non-electrical sign under the bulb (In Case Of Emergency, Do NOT Break Glass).

Mr. Jingles

The holiday-obsessed owner of a Christmas-based theme park in Death Valley, Mr. Jingles (voiced by Richard Doyle) uses the magic of the Jingulator machine to turn the park into a perpetually snowy Christmas village where time moves very slowly and turn all the children into worker elves.

When Ben and his family arrived at his park, he mistakes Max for Santa Claus and kidnaps him, hoping to make his dream of having Santa deliver presents to children a reality. When it came to getting Ben and Gwen to join his staff, he sent Nutcracker soldiers and slithering snowmen. The Nutcracker soldiers and snowmen also served as Mr. Jingle's foot soldiers alongside the giant teddy bears and living toys.

After Ben destroyed his Jingulator as Grey Matter, he was shown the error of his ways. Everyone was restored to normal after Max and Gwen used a sleigh pulled by Stinkfly to deliver the gifts he made. In the process, the theme park was returned to normal and the effects of his curse reversed, making it seem like it had never happened (though everyone involved still retained memories of these events). A Walt Disney-styled statue commemorating him is seen within the town after the curse is broken. On its base is an inscription quoting what Grandpa Max had told him about the true meaning of Christmas. He is likely deceased as Elsgood was a child before the curse was broken but an old man after and Mr. Jingles was fairly old, likely only alive because of the curse freezing time within the confines of his village.

Mrs. Fang

Mrs. Fang is the mother to Gaterboy and Porcupine. Unlike her children, she has no animalistic traits (the boys claim to take after their father). She was kidnapped by the mob as insurance that her sons would compete and win money owed to them. She was ultimately rescued by her sons with the help of Ben. Voiced by Tara Strong.

The President of the United States

The President of the United States (voiced by Richard McGonagle) appeared in "The Unnaturals", where "the Squires" and the Forever Knights tried to replace him with a robot. When Ben as Fourarms defeated the Squires Coach robot and the Omnitrix timed out, the robot coach was about to attack the President but Ben saved him and destroyed the robot for good. The President mistakes Ben for Cash, one of the bullies that picks on him, for saving his life because Ben took Cash's place in the last game. It should be noted that this is a fictional president, and not a caricature of the current one.

Tiffany

A student at Bancroft Academy, featured in "Ghostfreaked Out". Tiffany (voiced by Kath Soucie) showed the Tennysons around the campus, and was later captured by Ghostfreak and the Circus Freaks. She had a very snobby attitude towards the family, even after being rescued.

Todd Maplewood

Todd (voiced by Rob Pinkston) is a boy Ben and Gwen met in "Under Wraps" at a farm where they needed to learn the values of hard work. He is habitually dirty and has one of the farm's piglets as a constant companion.

Tim Dean

Tim Dean (voiced by Josh Keaton), from the episode "Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures", is the writer of a show-within-a-show of the same name, a cartoony parody of Ben's alien forms. Ben, angry at the writer for ripping off his aliens, initially believes Dean is the one causing all the weird things that were happening at the theme park, Planetary Studios. Ben later discovers it's Kane North, the twin brother of Abel North causing the trouble, who wanted revenge because Dean stole his show idea from Kane.

Super Alien Hero Buddies

Doggy Buddy, Fiery Buddy, and Handy Buddy from the Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures cartoon are cartoony parodies of Wildmutt, Heatblast, and Fourarms respectively. Each has a distinct voice gimmick: Doggy Buddy (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) speaks in a manner reminiscent of Scooby-Doo; Fiery Buddy (voiced by Paul Eiding) says his lines in rhyme, somewhat like a rapper; Handy Buddy (voiced by Steve Blum) speaks with a Scottish accent for no apparent reason, which Ben points out when complaining about the parody. At the end of "Super Alien Hero Buddy Adventures", Grandpa Max buys Ben an action figure of Handy Buddy.

Vance Vetteroy

Vance Vetteroy (voiced by Mark Thompson) is the Chicago weather man that created S.A.M. in "Monster Weather". He ends up causing S.A.M. to go haywire when he uses it to make a rainstorm occur, only for lightning to strike S.A.M. and drive it crazy. He later tries to smash S.A.M.'s CPU with a pipe while it's incapacitated to make up for what he's done, only to be captured by his own creation. After Ben makes S.A.M. explode, Vettroy accepts he'll have to be just another "handsome face".
