Kondapi or Kondepi is a small town and a Mandal & Assembly constituency in Prakasam district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1]

Colleges & Schools

In Kondapi there are 5 Elementary Schools, a Government High School, a Junior College and 3 Private Schools. MSR Degree college was established in 1994 but it was closed in 2010 due to lack of maintenance and Re-opened in 2011 and running successfully. A Government Junior college was established in 1970 and it is an excellent and fascinating college in terms of Infrastructure. Around the village, majority of students commute by bicycles.

Temples

In Kondapi,there are 5 beautiful Temples among which, Shirdi Sai Baba Temple is the most beautiful & a glorious one.there are temples for Lord siva, Sri Ram & Maha Vishnu. now Sri Anjaneya Temple construction is going on. and also Sri rama Temple is reconstructing with all facilities. Sri Golagamudi Venkaiah Swamy Temple construction is going on. Village contains Gramadevatha temple called kondepamma temple built by GURRAM VENKATA SUBBAIAH in 2004.

Near Jaallapalem, there is a famous Veerabramhendra Temple, every Year on the day of UGADI (Telugu Samvatharam/ Telugu New Year), people flock to this temple.

Vennur is a village of Kondapi constituent.This village also has a beautiful Temple that's name is "ANKAMMA TALLI" Temple. Every year all people are celebrate "Jatara".

Muppavaram is a village where the Puralasetty family originated and today they are spread across Andhra Pradesh. Puralasetty DEVARA (ammavaru incarnation) is famous in the village for, every 5 years celebrations of this temple is held in grandeur. The first Temple construction was taken by PURALASETTY SOMAIAH along with the support of his family members. The first 'Jatara' is held Under management of PURALASETTY SUBBA RAO which is believedd to have taken the temple's glory to the peak . Today, the temple stands as an IDOL for 'FAMILY PRIDE'

Chavatapalem is a village has two beautiful temples one is KODANDARAMASWAMY temple built by KANDULA ADEIAH and another one is POLLERAMMA temple built by chavatapalem village people among them. IN Muppavaram There are 2 temples 1. Veera anjaneyaswamy temple 2.sivalayam

Sai baba temple which is beside bus stop it is newly established.
