Kerkhof (pronounced [ˈkɛr(ə)kɦɔf]) is a Dutch toponymic surname meaning "church garden", largely a historically Catholic name in the Netherlands. Alternative spellings include: Kerekhoff, Kerkhoff, Van Kerkhof.
