Kamalgazi (A.K.A ''Kumro-Khali'')is a small locality situated on the Garia Main Road in Garia, India. The religion of the area is primarily Hindu and Muslim, and its mosque is one of the largest in the district. This place is under Panchayat. A resolution has been passed by the West Bengal Govt, that this place will always remain under Panchayat. Due to this reason, the people of this area do not have to pay property tax to the West Bengal Govt.

The people of this area have also submitted a memorandum to the West Bengal Govt to bring Kamalgazi under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. This is to ensure that they can forfeit the tag of 'Gram Bangla', for which the people are often ridiculed at.

The major food crop grown here is Pumpkin. This is the staple food for the local people, hence the name Kumro-Khali ('Kumro' = Pumpkin and 'Khali' = Only - In Bengali. This means that 'Only Pumpkin is grown/consumed here'). The residents are planning to start a festival called 'La KumroKina' to promote tourism in the area. The 'La KumroKina' festival will be similar to the 'La tomatina' fest, however to prevent any grevious injury to the participants the organizers have decided to use pumpkin paste to this effect. They beleive that this initiative will also support the cause of bringing Kamalgazi under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. As part of promoting tourism they have also decided to erect a statue of Billy Bowden. This is to commemorate the famous 'Crooked Finger' posture of Billy (the reason for erecting the Billy statue is grotesque enough to find a mention in this article).

There are unruly auto drivers in this area and beating them up is one of the favourite passtime of the people residing in this area. The Panchayat pradhan has also suggested that they convert this favourite passtime to the National Game of Kamalgazi. Suggestions have also been put forward in the Kangaroo Court meetings which are frequently held, to document (Photograph and Video) these beatings and post them to You tube and other social networking sites. They beleive that these measures will bring this sport to worldwide acclaim and limelight.

The Archeological Survey of India had recently found remains of the famous Stonehenge, they have also claimed that the one located in the English county of Wiltshire is just a replica of the 'Stonehenge of Kamalgazi'. Hence they are contemplating setting up a STONE PARK in Kamalgazi and name the park as "THE ORIGINAL STONE".

The Medical Council of India has warned that an epidemic called 'Thin Wrist Syndrome (TWS)' is afflicting male residents of the area. They are still trying to find a cure for this disease. Gymming is said to be a major cause.
