Innovation Middle is in San Diego California, located at 5095 Arvinels Ave, San Diego, CA 92117. It is a 7-8th grade middle school. It's minimum requirements for the school are to have enrolled in another Madison school, or to live in the area. The school has many academic activities for the students to actively engage in. There also is a yearbook which is entered into the San Diego county Yearbook fair. The school uses systems such as Moodle and Powerschool to allow students to check grades. Most classes are 7th or 8th only, but certain classes such as ITT (Intro to Tech) and Algebra are both 7th and 8th.

A fully functioning GATE and Seminar program.
AVID, Video Production, Exploring Computers, Tech Support Services, Multi-media Yearbook, Spanish 1-2 and 3-4 elective courses offered.
Pre-Algebra or Algebra offered to 7th grade students and Algebra or Geometry for 8th grade students.
PrimeTime (formerly “6 to 6”) after school program and many after school activities, including competitive football and soccer, fitness, academic tutoring, robotics, and more!
Strong community involvement and support.
Nationally Board Certified, Apple Distinguished, California League of Middle Schools Educators of the Year, and Google Academy Educators.
Partnerships with Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Apple, LMI Aerospace, USD, UCSD, ATT, Time Warner Cable, and others.
