Incognito is a Philippine action drama television series produced by Star Creatives and Studio Three Sixty for ABS-CBN Studios. Directed by Lester Pimentel Ong, it stars a large ensemble cast topbilled by Richard Gutierrez, Baron Geisler, Maris Racal, Anthony Jennings, Kaila Estrada, Ian Veneracion and Daniel Padilla. The series premiered on Kapamilya Channel's Primetime Bida evening block on January 20, 2025.[1][2]

Premise

In search of redemption, a crew of seven misfits joins a private military company, led by Col. Gregorio "Greg" Paterno (Ian Veneracion), on a series of deadly missions against the criminal underworld. The group mainly focuses on human trafficking issues that the government can't solve openly.

Five of the crew, namely Jose "JB" Bonifacio (Richard Gutierrez), Miguel Tecson (Baron Geisler), Max Alvero (Kaila Estrada), Gabriela "Gab" Rivera (Maris Racal), and Andres Malvar (Daniel Padilla), were all dishonorably discharged from military service, while Tomas Guerrero (Anthony Jennings) didn't graduate from military academy because he was accused of stealing by his colleagues. At first, they joined the private military company to earn money and to serve their country again, but after their first mission, a general offered them to be reinstated if they successfully kidnapped Timor "Señor" Escalera (Art Acuña) and keep him alive.

An ex-navy with expertise in counter-terrorism, special recon, combat diving, and urban warfare, who was discharged from military service because of his participation in a mutiny against the president. He is the son of Army Chief General Tony Bonifacio.
Navy Intelligence XO, a top brass, and a contractor who leads a private military company that assists the government.
A sniper, doctor, and an ex-army EOD who was discharged from military service because of alcoholism.
A hacker and cyber ops specialist who was discharged from the military for insubordination and desertion.
A former student of JB in the Special Forces Reserve. He was accused of stealing by his colleagues when he was in the military academy. The only member of the team who is not ex-military. Street smart and brave. Formerly works as collector to his godfather's business.
A spy and infiltration specialist, and was discharged from military service because of a lie that her father told to Gab's superiors. Aside from not being supportive to her career choices, she also despised her father because of the illegal activities that he's doing.
An ex-scout ranger whose expertise are CQC and anti-guerilla warfare, and was discharged from military service because of homicide. He unintentionally killed the man who killed his father. His personal interest in human trafficking makes him move differently from the rest of his team. He joined Greg's company to find his missing younger brother and fulfill his promise to his father.

Father of Donato, Leader of a powerful crime syndicate. He claims that he and Tony has connections in the past that makes JB became more curious.
Nephew of Timor; cousin of Donato. He is responsible for their port business. He also act as leader of the syndicate when Timor left for Cerdova until the latter was killed.

Nephew of Timor; cousin of Donato. He is the manager of the restaurant business owned by the Escaleras, where illegal drugs are sold to its customers.
One of Timor's henchmen and one of Takako's abductors.

  • Ariel Ureta as Abel - loving husband of Sara. Inspite of Sara's condition, he still stay with her and love her unconditionally.
  • Louise delos Reyes as Clara - wife of Joel. She works in a hotel as an room attendant. She works hard to save money for her pregnancy.
  • Alex Medina as Joel - husband of Clara. He also works in a hotel but as a waiter. He works harder to save money for his wife's pregnancy.
  • Mike Lloren as Domingo / Domie - Rema's person who will assist his legal documents to go to the abroad now the authorities are eyeing for him.

Timor tries to find an ally within the Contractor's team, prompting JB, Andres and Max to reconcile. Masked figures attack the hideout.

Andres' stakeout goes south, prompting him to regroup and seek help from JB. Meanwhile, Gabriela makes a crafty move to bail Tomas out of a jam.

Filming

Principal photography commenced in September 2024 in El Nido, Palawan and Bari, Apulia in Italy.[3] Additional scenes in Italy were shot in Matera.

Release

The series was released first on Netflix 3 days before broadcast on January 17, 2025, on iWantTFC 2 days before broadcast on January 18, 2025, and its premiere on January 20, 2025.[4]

Ratings and viewership

Upon its release, Incognito went number one on Netflix's most watched shows in the Philippines.[4] The series opened with 585,973 peak concurrent live viewers on its premiere on Kapamilya Online Live streamed through YouTube.[5] According to AGB Nielsen Philippines' Nationwide Urban Television Audience Measurement People in television homes, Incognito premiered with 8.7% rating.[6]
