Description
English: Photograph of a page from a rare Blackletter bible (1497) printed in Strasbourg by Johann Grüninger.[1] The coloured chapter initials were handwritten after printing. The original is owned by the submitter. You see Chapter III of the Book of Proverbs ("Proverbs of Solomon"): fili mi ne obliviscaris legis meae et praecepta mea custodiat cor tuum ([2])
