Hussein al-Tahan

Hussein Al-Tahan (Arabic: حسين الطحان; born 1955) was the governor of Baghdad in Iraq from 2005 to 2009.[citation needed] He took the position in 2005 after his predecessor was assassinated.[1]

He was arrested on charges of corruption by Iraqi security forces on 26 December 2014.[1]
