Humse hai life is an Indian TV series airs on Channel V, every sunday at 1:30 pm. The show was premiered on September 10, 2011. Earlier it was scheduled to premiere on August 29, 2011.Humse hai life airs on Channel V India, is an Indian soap aimed at the youth. The main protagonist of the show is Sia (Abigail jain) who tries to become a Boxer. It is a story of Sia who leads new generation of 21st century. Story of Humse Hai Life is based on the struggling journey of Sia. It brings aspirations, struggles and determination of a young girl to the viewers. Sia wants to achieve her goals despite many odds in Humse Hai Life serial. What happens to a girl who finds herself in a man's world? She redefines it. Sia is not your average 16 year old; while most teenage girls dream of a future filled with glitz and glam, Sia dreams of becoming a boxer. After passing the entrance test at the up-market Elite School with flying colours, Sia soon realizes that this is only the beginning of her long road to success. Will she be able to fight it out with Raghav, the star boxer, and claim her rightful place as the #1 boxer? Or will she give in to the notion that girls don't box?

Characters

Sia Dhillon (Pushpa)

If there was a unit to measure anger, it would be called Sia. People write their destiny on their hands but for Sia, her hand is her destiny. She was 11 when her father, National Level boxer Sandeep Dhillon, began to teach her boxing. But after a year, her parents died in a car accident. Sia and her 14 year-old brother, Gautam (Gauti), moved to their uncle's house in Aadarsh Colony. In the next 5 years, Sia lived through poverty and her life became hard' but she never lost sight of her one and only dream of becoming boxer. Her best friend in Elite school is Arjun Thakur, who is always there to help Sia. Initially Raghav plays lots of pranks and irritates Sia but later on both of them become good friends. Raghav's girlfriend Saloni hates her and doesn't want Raghav and Sia to come close. but raghav is always touched to sia.And in the current episodes he starts loving sia even more because she has left elite school if she doesnt pay the next terms fees (which was told by vishals father to the principal) and as the show continues it is shown raghav and arjun come together with various plans to bring her back to elite .sia on the other hand is not aware about this and does not want to pester her friends to help her so she is heartbroken that she will leave elite sia also has some feelings for raghav but does not understand it

Raghav Oberoi

If there was a PHD for pranks, it would certainly go to Raghav. Normally, each story has a different hero, but in Elite school, Raghav is the hero for every story. Smart, rich and funny, if you catch his eye, he will always be around, whether you like it or not. By the looks of it, he has only one rule in life. He won't discriminate between people in love. His best friend and roommate is Arjun who is more than a brother to him as his family doesn't show affection and care towards him. At the start of the show, Raghav plays loads of pranks on Sia but later on they become good friends and he even helps Sia when she is trapped in difficult situations and helps her out with the exams. As the show moves on he develops strong feelings for Sia .He disapproves wrong intentions of Vishal. In the latest episodes he begins to understand his feelings for Sia.

Arjun Thakur (Juno)

Arjun is Raghav's best buddy and in most ways a complete opposite of him.He is the Head Boy of Elite.Unlike any of the other rich kids, he does not find worth in power or money. Very idealistic about life, he expects the same from others. It is this characteristic that makes him impractical sometimes as he looks at people in complete black or white. For him the greys don't exist. Raghav's a friend so he can do no wrong. He is good friend of Sia and helps her regarding love related problems. He starts liking Sia and feels that she is different from all the other girls but has no strength to confess it so he tells it only to his buddy Raghav. His close friends call him 'Juno'.

Coach Karanveer

During the sports scholarship exam, Karanveer saw a spark in Sia. As a former boxer himself, he understood Sia and selected her. He has grand ideas for her though he never speaks about them. In fact, he harldy speaks...he just does what is supposed to be done. Even the school Principle is afraid of him. The schools students are also afraid of him and though they tease him behind his back, they all respect him in their hearts.He develops feelings for Miss. Sen.

Saloni

Raaghav's current flame Saloni is the high- flying girl who shops in Paris, pays in London and collects the receipt in the U.S.A. Saloni is ELITE'S glam girl.In short, she's cunning, proud, vain, and vicious. Through her plots and schemes she makes things turn out exactly as she wants to.She also makes fun of others just like Raghav.She is the president of the Kool Kats Klub(K3).She hates Sia and hates to see Raghav being so close to her.She does not want to lose Raghav -The Rockstar at any cost as she always want the best.

Vishal

Rules and regulations are made for other people. Free and uninhibited. Vish does everything on a grand scale. Big ideas, extreme ambitions, ornate gestures - Vish attracts friends on the basis of his money and the power it exudes. A son of a big Bollywood super-star Ronnie Kapoor, Vishal loves to put people down by one way or the other. He wants Saloni from Raghav and uses Pooja to trap Sia.He can be said as the antagonist of the story.He always takes advantage of Sia's brother,Gauti's innocency and cleverly involves him in his schemes making use of the fact that he is a computer genious.

Gautam (Gauti)

Sia's younger brother Gauti is an IT expert .He wants to become rich and famous. He can't see Sia sad and can do anything to make her happy. He is a cute guy. He loves his sister a lot. But Sia is always worried about his future. Now he has also got admission in Elite after catching Vishal and Bonny hacking the question paper. Eventhough being warned by Miloni and Sia herself about Vishal's bad intensions, he is most of the time with Vishal and Bonny. He has a huge crush over miloni from the first moment he saw her. Gautam is always misled by Vishal.

Other Characters

Miss Sen

Her full name is Shona Sen. She is the English teacher as well as the student counsellor at Elite. She is a very sweet person and always tries to solve problems. She will later fall for coach Karanveer.

Gurmeet

Gurmeet is also a scholarship student at Elite.He is a very shy and studious person. He is very sincere, hard working and a science nerd. During the date night, he was Samma's date and loves her.

Samma

She is a very sweet girl. Like other girls from the "Kool Kats Klub" she does not follow Saloni's orders.During date night, Gurmeet was her date and now she is in love with Gurmeet.She is also a good friend of Sia and always helps her when she need it. She always wears a cool cap and is not as girly as the other Elite girls. She has her own way of life and is good buddy of Raghav.She also helps Sia in all tough times.

Taniya (Tan)

She is a student from Elite. She is a good friend of Saloni. During date night she was Ambar and Akash's date.Presently she is in a relationship with Ambar-Akash.She sometimes stands with Saloni and be her friend and at other times,she becomes a spy and spies Saloni.

Ambar - Akash

Ambar and Akash also known as "Wadda bro" and "Nikka bro" are the two jokers of Elite.These two are twin brothers and are inseparable.They always stick together and when anything happens in Elite they act like reporters and collect news from every student.They help Raghav in all his pranks. They are afraid of Sia because they think that Sia will punch them.Presently they are in love with a girl named Tanya. They are good friends of Arjun(the head boy and Raghav's best buddy) and Raghav(the cool dude).Now they have become good friends of Sia.

Pooja Gupta

Pooja has come to Elite on Dramatics scholarship.She is Sia's roommate and friend but later on she will go against Sia. She always lives in her dream world. She always ends up in making fun of herself. She likes Vishal and was his date at the date night.Vishal tries to exploit her weakness and uses her to get back to the gareebs to show their real place in the world . Sia thinks Pooja exposes herself vulnerably to people and that is the reason she gets taken advantage of.But Pooja is gullible and her biggest weakness is Elite boys and her desire to become a part of the cool and happening crowd of elite. She wants to be like Saloni and is also the member of the Kool Kats Klub(K3). She is madly in love with Vishal but is unaware about Vishal's cunning ways and wrong intentions.

Miloni

Miloni is Saloni's sister but totally opposite to her. She is Gautam's classmate. She is smart and an intelligent girl .All the boys in her class admire her. She thinks that boys consider themselves to be smart when they are actually not. She is gauti's good friend, the only boy which she finds who is worth for her friendship . She also warns Gauti about Vishal and is concerned for him. She reports each and every movement of Gautam to Sia who is worried about him.She is also a good friend of Raghav.In the later part she falls for Gauti.

Moony

He is the right hand of Vishal. Even though,Vishal gives him no special consideration,to him Vishal is like a boss and obeys whatever cheap thing he ask him to get done.He is like a 'stupid boy' throughout the story,who can't take a decision of his own.He is Gautam's and Meloni's classmate and he is the reason Vishal has a connection with Gautham. He has big crush on Saloni's sister Meloni,which she isn't concerned about.

Cafe Manager

Sia's cafe manager is a very funny person. He misunderstands Raghav to be Sia's boyfriend. Raghav and the manager are good friends. Raghav convinced him to become his father for the PTA meeting.
