Hualañé is a municipality, comuna of Curicó Province in the Maule Region of Chile. Its capital is the town of the same name.
Hualañe in the native lenguage means : "Ducks place"
The main activities are the agriculture of tomatoes, potatoes, and grapes for the wine process. The valley of the Mataquito River is one of the best places for situate the Vendees in the entire country, and of course, the best wines of the world come from this region.
