Profit Share Dispute: Waar

[edit]

Bilal Lashari, the director of the film, claimed in a 2014 First Information Report (FIR) that Rana failed to pay Lashari a 25% share of the profits per their agreement, depositing Rs200 million revenue from the film into Rana's personal account. According to Lashari, the production budget for the film was Rs60 million and its return was Rs250 million. Rana stated that he had paid Lashari Rs15 million for his work on the film.[3]
