Huraysun (Arabic: حريصون; also transliterated Harisun), also known as Qamu (Arabic: القاموع) is a village in northwestern Syria, administratively part of the Baniyas District of the Tartus Governorate, located east of Baniyas. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics, Huraysun had a population of 2,765 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are mostly Alawites.[2]
