Graphic Era University (GEU), also known as Graphic Era Deemed to be University, is a private university located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
Established in 1993 as Graphic Era Institute of Technology, it gained the status of a deemed university in 2008. The institution offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across various disciplines, including engineering, management, computer applications, humanities, and life sciences.
History
[edit]Graphic Era University was founded by Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala with the vision to provide quality education in the fields of engineering and technology. Initially starting as an institute of technology, GEU quickly expanded its academic offerings and infrastructure, ultimately gaining recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC) as a deemed university in 2008.
