Gever is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Oisterwijk, between the towns of Haaren and Oisterwijk.[3]

Gever is not a statistical entity,[1] and the postal authorities have placed it under Haaren.[2] It has no place name signs, and consists of about 30 houses.[4]

It was first mentioned in 1311 as Godevaard van de Gever. The etymology is unclear.[5]
