Georgina (name)
Appearance
(Redirected from Georgina (given name))
Georgina is a given name and the feminine form of George, along with Georgia and Georgiana. It comes from the Greek word γεωργός (georgós; γέω, géo, "earth" + έργο, érgo, "work"), meaning "farmer".
The name's recent increase in usage, especially among Hispanic parents, has been attributed to the influence of Georgina Rodríguez, the subject of a Netflix series I Am Georgina in early 2022.[1]
