Fred arrives home screaming and shares his flashback with the audience. A day before Fred went to music and his favorite music teacher (who has trouble hearing) told him that he is a good student. The next day he comes in expecting his old music teacher but finds out that she has been replaced by a new music teacher: Mr. Devlin (Seth Morris). He then sees Mr. Devlin cleaning up and throwing away a hearing aide, which makes Fred wary. Later he is walking home with his best friend, Bertha (Daniella Monet), and sees a girl named Talia following them. Believing that he is being stalked, he runs home and arrives screaming. Later that day Fred notices Mr. Devlin is his new neighbor. Fred is immediately suspicious of Mr. Devlin, and begins to think that he may be a vampire.
Fred Figglehorn (Lucas Cruikshank) bursts through his front door and announces he is "scareared" (scared + scarred). The day before Fred went to music class to play Fur Elise and his favorite music teacher Mrs. Felson, who has trouble hearing, tells him that he plays beautifully. The next day he comes in to play, expecting Mrs. Felson, but finds out that she has been replaced by Mr. Devlin (Seth Morris). As Fred takes in the fact that his favorite teacher disappeared, Mr. Devlin calmy picks up Mrs. Felson's hearing aide and drops it in the trash as he explains it was "her time to move on", which scares Fred. Later he is walking home and suddenly realizes he is being followed by a girl, who Fred later finds out her name is Talia (Ariel Winter). Believing that he is being stalked, he runs home and notices Mr. Devlin picking up a 'House for Sale' sign and taking it with him. Fred dashes inside. He creates his own theory that Devlin is a vampire. The next day at school Devlin supports everyone to take piano lessons from him, which he calls Join the World With Music. Kevin (Jake Weary) had already been taking lessons and is Devlin's advertisement. Fred thinks that Devlin is trying to turn everyone into a vampire by having them take his lessons, and to his terror eveybody does. After Kevin was done playing, Fred walks up to the piano and tries to play Fur Elise, but he plays the wrong notes. Devlin stops him and says not everyone is born with natural talent, making Fred dislike him even more. That night Fred spies on him and sees him burying something, which he automatically suspects is a body. The next day, after Fred finishes talking to Talia, she vanishes, causing him to think she is a ghost. He imagines her ghost in his house and accidentally falls down the stairs reaching for her. The door is knocked on and his mom (Siobhan Fallon Hogan) opens it to see Kevin's mom (Stephanie Courtney)and she invites them to a party for Mr. Devlin at their house. At the party, Fred's mom flirts with Devlin as Kevin plays his piano. He runs into Talia and is surprised to see her there. Kevin notices them and asks Fred why he was talking to his sister. Fred darts house screaming. fred decides there is something hiddin in Devlin's name, so he gets out Scrabble and tries to decode it, which evidentally leads him nowhere. Fred does some research and learns that vampires can't see their reflection, and can't come into his house unless he invites them in. Just then, the doorbell rings and Fred opens it only to see Mr. Devlin. He is there to ask Fred's mom to a dinner date. Fred and Bertha ( Daniella Monet) sneak out to spy on them. Bertha dresses as a waitress. Mr. Devlin orders a bloody steak without the garlic fries, making Bertha extremely suspicous. The next day at school, Devlin tells Fred and Bertha that he will need some of their blood. Fred shouts that he won't give any blood to him. Devlin calmy states that the blood is for a blood drive that he started, and Fred tells Devlin that vampires should die. Devlin solemnly replies that vampires need to live too, and that they're undead. Later, Fred spies on Mr. Devlin and sees him hose off a bloody knife. He also spots Mrs. Felson's jacket. He glances back at Devlin, and he is glaring right back at him. Fred screams as he falls from his window. The next day, Mr. Devlin is putting on a piano recital, so Fred decides to bust him as a vampire there. Fred goes and buys some garlic sauce from a Chinese restaurant to spray on Devlin. At the piano recital that night, Fred squirts the garlic sauce on everyone, including Talia, but forgets to spray Mr. Devlin. Afterward, to Fred's horror, Mr. Devlin invites him into his house for dinner so that they can "bury the hatchet". Before he goes, Fred sets up a live video streaming from his phone so he can prove to everyone that Devlin is a vampire. He also figures out that the trick in Devlin's name is if you combine 'devil' with 'Kevin' you get Devlin! As Fred walks up to Devlin's house, he hears Mr. Devlin playing his piano. Devlin greets Fred and tells him that they're having a food Fred hasn't eaten before. Devlin says he needs to prepare some things in the kitchen, and he tells him to make himself at home. Fred takes his phone out of his pocket and begins recording the living room. As he explores, Devlin tells Fred that they collected over 9 gallons of blood at the blood drive. As Fred stares at a statue, Devlin returns with a shovel and announces that it's time to "dig up dinner". Outside, Fred and Mr. Devlin dig until Devlin tells Fred to help him get this up. Fred argues,"I'm not touching that! Who's in there?!". Devlin replies it's someone named 'Kim Chi'. Fred excuses himself to wash his hands, and he goes inside to tell the people watching the video what Devlin said. Fred opens a door as a bat comes flying into his face, startling Fred to back up into a wall, which flips around, trapping him in a secret hallway. He spots a matte glass sliding door and starts to head towards it. Everyone watching the video are freaked out as Fred reveals a secret butchers' room filled with meat and bones. As Fred investigates, Devlin creeps in with a long knife and a tall headdress, scaring Fred as he drops his phone into a pot of boiling liquid. The video freezes on Devlin, and everyone watching the video is suddenly convinced that he is a vampire. But after Devlin explains every weird hobby he has, Fred starts to relate to him, and he comes to like Devlin. At school Fred realizes that people actually watched his video. He sees how music class has been suspended, and immediatly feels terrible and runs to Devlin's house to apologize but Devlin is too depressed to answer. When Fred sees Mr. Devlin get fired, and put up a sign for his house, saying that he is moving, he feels guilty and tries to fix it all by making them think he is the vampire, so they would forget about Devlin. Bertha and Talia both help, as Talia reveals how much she dislikes her brother. Kevin and his friends go up to Devlin's house because they think he has Talia. Devlin calmy tells them that vampires are not real, but Bertha comes out and shouts, "Vampires are real, but it's not Devlin. It's him!" Then, Fred walks out of the garage carrying Talia, threatening to turn her into a vampire too. Bertha makes Kevin stab Fred, and he gets sprayed with fake blood. Devlin sees Fred and accepts his apology, revealing that he quit his job and sold his house of his own choice, but still sees Fred as his one true friend. In the end, Fred's mom and Devlin go out for a good-bye snack. As the two go out the door, Fred glances out of the corner of his eye at the mirror in his house and sees that Mr. Devlin has no reflection, revealing that he was a vampire after all, and Fred screams in terror as the film ends.

The next day at school Devlin supports everyone to join a community called Join the World of Music. Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred (stylized as FЯED 2: Night of the Living FЯED) is a 2011 independent comedy film. The film is the sequel to the 2010 film Fred: The Movie, based on the adventures of Fred Figglehorn, a character created and played by Lucas Cruikshank for Cruikshank's YouTube channel. It is a Halloween themed sequel. Jennette McCurdy, who played Bertha in the original Fred, did not return and is replaced by Daniella Monet. John Cena returns as Mr. Figglehorn (Fred's dad), and Jake Weary returns to play Kevin. Supah Ninjas star Carlos Knight co-stars as Kevin's friend and partner. Pixie Lott, who played Judy in the first film, did not return and therefore her character was written out of the plot; it is revealed by Fred that they broke up and she was the one to break up with him, proving they went out following the events of the previous film.
