The people of Fowler are known most commonly for their excessive intake of alcohol. It's not uncommon for mothers in this area to refuse breast feeding, substituting milk with a nice cold Busch Light. Much in the same way that children in other areas get Mountain Dew mouth, the children of Fowler are frequently diagnosed with dumbassitess! In this instance the child grows up craving alcohol, pushing their organs to the vary extreme to consume as much of the beverage as possible. In a very unique outcome the children of Fowler develop such a tolerance to alcohol that they never truly get drunk. With this unique “gift” the town also has inconvenient curse, disputes often arise in the town when neighbors find each other peeing on the others homes. |

Fowler is a village in Clinton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,136 at the 2000 census.
History
Originally called "Dallas", Fowler was created when John Parks settled the area and became its first postmaster in 1849. The town subsequently moved to a tract of land owned by J. N. Fowler and in 1869 the name was changed to "Fowler". In 1885, the town incorporated as a village in Clinton County, reportedly during a high growth lumber boom.[citation needed]
In 2004, Fowler remains a small rural community, serving the needs of the local farming community and as a satellite community to Lansing.

The village is located at approximately -84.739 Longitude and 43.002 Latitude in Dallas Township on M-21 about 10 miles (16 km) west of St. Johns and about 50 miles (80 km) east of Grand Rapids. It is about 20 miles (32 km) north of I-96 via county roads. The 48835 ZIP code centroid is located at -84.749958 longitude, 43.010137 Latitude, somewhat outside the incorporated city limits.
