The Football League 100 Legends is a list of "100 legendary football players" produced by The Football League in 1998, to celebrate the 100th season of League football.[1] Any player, of any nationality, who had played in the Football League or the FA Premier League was eligible for inclusion.

Although many great players were included, there were some notable exclusions, such as Peter Beardsley, Trevor Brooking, Steve Bull, Jack Charlton, John Aldridge, Mark Hughes, Roy Keane, Steve Claridge, David Seaman, Ian Wright and Gianfranco Zola. As of the 2009–10 season, Ryan Giggs is the only player still playing.
