USCENTCOM Correction

[edit]

Information in the article Unified Combatant Command states that Israel/Palestine is currently part of and will remain part of USEUCOM, not USCENTCOM. Please correct the image to reflect such information. Griggs08 (talk) 05:01, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Parts of Africa covered by USCENTCOM are also omitted in this image; this also needs to be addressed. SJSA 03:38, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Madagascar

[edit]

Both United States Pacific Command and United States Africa Command show Madagascar as being part of United States Pacific Command but it's shown as part of United States Africa Command on the map. This should be corrected.

That is incorrect. Madagascar falls under AFRICOM, along with other East African Islands. http://www.defense.gov/specials/unifiedcommand/images/unified-command_world-map.jpg

Greenland

[edit]

As far as I can tell, Greenland does not fall under NORTHCOM and EUCOM, only under EUCOM.

Please note Russia east of 100 degrees falls under PACOM, not EUCOM. This is made clear on the individual Combatant Command websites. This is actually incorrect, all of geographic Russia is included in the U.S. European Command (USEUCOM) area of responsibility, USPACOM, in coordination with USEUCOM, retains responsibility for noncombatant evacuation operations (NEO), counterterrorism (CT) planning for U.S. diplomatic missions, and force protection in those areas in the Russian Federation east of 100º East longitude.

Also, Israel is not depicted as a EUCOM country, as it should be. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.100.69.170 (talk) 18:06, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
