Why are farmers not the president

To me, farmers are supposed to be the President. Because these are the people who put foods on our table. These are the people who spend time in cultivating in plantain. These are People who could be able to provide the needs of the people, so therefore if a farmer is good for us. the farmers suppose to be the choosing ones for presidency.
