Please note that this spider is not a Steatoda bipunctata (for anyone using the image in Wikipedia, etc.) If I knew a geographic location, I might be able to tell for sure which genus it belongs to but, right now, without that information, I can only say that it is either a member of the genus Parasteatoda or Achaearanea.
