Rusyn (not Ruthenian)

[edit]

In modern English, including Wikipedia, the language shown in orange and brown stripes (in west Ukraine, east Slovakia and south-east Poland) is known as the Rusyn language.

"Ruthenian" is avoided because it is ambiguous and an exonym: until the 1920s, the term "Ruthenian language" referred to both Rusyn and Ukrainian. (And in the remote past to Belarusian and Russian too.)

Can we have the label corrected please?
