References!

[edit]

Fine guys, if you think the map is wrong anywhere please link your sources and it will be corrected, your personal opinion is irrelevant. This map does have references, but of course mistakes can happen, so please if you have any error to report, do so, and thanks, but please do have references or at least an informed source.

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.137.108.10 (talk) 01:22, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think this map should be redone or deleted. The article http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Russians_in_Germany states, that there are 3.5 million native Russian speakers in Germany. http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Russian_language states that 750,000 Russian speaking people emigrated to Israel. http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Demographics_of_Poland states that there are very little ethnic Russians and 300,000 Ukrainians in Poland. http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Hungary does not even mention Russian native speakers as a major minority in Hungary. Nor does http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Demographics_of_the_Czech_Republic#Ethnic_groups mention Russians as a minority with a significant percapita, but they are a recognised minority. The colours for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria also don't seem to fit. It is possible that Ukrainian native speakers, Russian native speakers, people who speak Russian as a foreign language and people of Russian/Ukrainian nationality/ethnicity were mixed up in some countries. In conclusion, this map seems to be very incorrect concerning native Russian speakers. 87.169.196.81 (talk) 16:22, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This map is completely misleading

How one can compare US with Ukraine where people speak Russian in the capital? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.37.199.248 (talk) 06:21, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
