there's an error in this picture. The yellow areas are static pressure, and the white is pitot. But there needs to be a line just above the transducer blocking the yellow color from entering there. In the picture it looks like airflow comes in the pitot opening, flows through the left side of the sensor and exits via the yellow channel out the lower static opening. That would give very erroneous readings.
