This is not the Paypal logo, the Paypal logo has rounded edges. - The user who commented before me is correct, this is not the PayPal logo. The correct logo can be seen here: https://www.paypalobjects.com/WEBSCR-640-20110401-1/en_US/i/logo/PayPal_mark_180x113.gif Unfortunately, PayPal has not made the vector version available. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.137.60.59 (talk) 11:51, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
- I don't see reasonable evidence for this. That image is very low resolution. PayPal doesn't provide a hi-resolution version of its logo; the images at https://www.paypal-media.com/multimedia are either not high-resolution at all, or extremely pixellated, but still, nominally, high-resolution, even though the description reads "Download high resolution files of PayPal logos." Odd, but true!--Elvey (talk) 21:11, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
- The PayPal logo indeed has rounded edges which can be very clearly seen on this page: http://www.dbmcommunications.com/portfolio_video_paypal_showcase_2.html. This is a website of a company contracted to design/produce promotional material for PayPal. The logo there is actually high-resolution – download it in order to admire fully.
- I traced it in Inkscape and uploaded as a new version here just before noting an even better quality vector logo on Brands of the World [1]. I have now converted the latter to SVG, rotated and changed uppercase "TM" to lowercase (Verdana font face) in accordance with the latest design.
- In my view, unless PayPal redesigns its logo again, this version of the file should stay. In particular, please do not revert to the pointed edge version. kashmiri 09:11, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
- Funny. Just when I wrote for the logo to stay, I checked again http://www.paypal-media.com/multimedia and found a vector version there – directly from PayPal. Uploading now (after conversion EPS->SVG). kashmiri 09:46, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
