There appears to be a bug in this image.
For all but the first stitch (from the bottom/left), the yellow thread has a loop pulled down through a loop of the black thread. For the first stitch it goes around the black thread...
There's also one farther back where the black thread (upper loop) passes behind the white thread (lower loop) at a spot where it's not supposed to.
