Five ways to map

[edit]

Nice job, so far! But perhaps we can still improve the graphic? As I understand it, as well as these four ways to map the various territories involved, there's a fifth way; see the map in the infobox on the Western Sahara conflict included on the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic page: (it's File:Western_Sahara_conflict_map.svg). This kind of map has the benefit of showing the conflict in terms of the facts of claims vs. actual control. Unfortunately, I can't contact User:Universalis, who appears not to exist ... What do you think? yoyo (talk) 12:00, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

User:Babelia tells me they are the English Wikipedia user known as User:Universalis on Spanish Wikipedia ... and left me a message on my talk page; in reply, I've left a message on theirs, with a simple edit to the four-way map image that adds a fifth, which overlays two of the individual maps to give three differently-coloured regions – Morocco, the "liberated territory" and the remaining part of Western Sahara still in dispute. I've uploaded the
