File talk:Malaria geographic distribution 2003.png
Appearance
Wrong information, there is no killing malaria since 1999 in Turkey.
- There is no limitation to malaria with fatal cosequences in this image. Actually, I suspect that the CDC made some deliberations in composing this, or the raw data behind this image. Precisely the year 2003, for the first time in 17 years, there was an outbreak of malaria in Florida; amounting to 7 sure cases (none fatal), all infected with the same strain of P. vivax, and, according to this CDC report, probably infected by mosquito bites in Florida. Whether or not to call this "indigeneous" is a subtle matter.
- Thus, it is arguable, that US should have been included in the list. JoergenB (talk) 15:12, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
