This map is no longer accurate. As a result of the 2010 census Illinois lost one seat in congress. On December 16, 2011 a panel of three Federal judges upheld the dramatic remap by Illinois Democrats. Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Carroll and the western edge of Winnebago counties were moved out of the 16th and into the 17th congressional district. In November 2012 the 17th district seat was won by Cheri Bustos, a Democrat from East Moline. --Sbrenerkener (talk) 17:35, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
