There is no evidence that the title of the painting is "The Greek Warrior" by the author. The costume of the warrior is the Albanian costume not the Greek costume and it will be more appropriate to call it The Albanian Warrior or simply The Warrior as it was called in a catalogue of 1876 of an exhibition of the author in London. https://archive.org/details/vereinfrkunstund00haag/page/n11/mode/2up
