I added the Genomatix logo to the infobox, since I thought it identifies the article topic on first view. And I think that there is no alternative. It is a screen shot from the Genomatix homepage, in order to help giving a proper impression of the company, in my opinion the usage of the image also meets all ten points of the Wikipedia:Non-free content Policy. I read the Threshold of originality article in Wikipedia and I would think that the logo do consist of a simple typeface and simple geometrical figures and so - against my first impression when I loaded up the screen shot - it is not a subject to US copyright. But after all I am no specialist about copyright - my knowledge is based on Wikipedia contents and it is fairly possible that I missed some important points.
