Rename file
[edit]Proposal: "It has been suggested that this media object be renamed to File:Gaudenz von Salis in 2005.jpg or a more suitable name for the following reason: problematic filename, as he doesn't use the title "comte", illegal where he lives Click for further information about when to rename. This request will be dealt with by an administrator or file mover."
- it is ok to call him count or comte as this is an English language page. and the right to call himself count is inalienable, at least on a social or informal way.Rodolph (talk)
- If I understood it correctly, he seems to say it's not ok in the article referenced at d:Q19937067.Jura1 (talk) 07:26, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- Widr: rather than blanking here and here, would you kindly help us by leaving some trace of what is being discussed? Jura1 (talk) 07:53, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- @Jura1: I removed the rename tag. The discussion should have been on this page originally. Widr (talk) 08:08, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- If you must shorten it do, but perhaps not to what you suggest as there are others called Gaudenz. Perhaps 'J.G.U.D. von Salis-Seewis' or 'Gaudenz von Salis-Seewis'? I'd keep it as it is. As I said these bans on using the title can be ignored.Rodolph (talk) 09:14, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- I'd go with the second suggestion. Makes it easier to link it to the name as it appears in the article. Is 2005 correct? BTW you might like this. Jura1 (talk) 09:33, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
- thanks for that wonderful link & for your simplification. The year 2005 is correct, photo was taken in Malans, Graubunden.Rodolph (talk)
- Ok, wow .. it's already done. If you liked Wikidata, another way to navigate it is Reasonator (click on "Show items" for the list). Jura1 (talk) 10:27, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
