Many appearances of this flag throughout Wikipedia are anachronistic. I have just left a note to that effect in the article on John Quincy Adams, but I note here references e.g. to George IV, who certainly was not around until 1892 when this flag was adopted. An effort should be made to find the correct flags and place them wherever appropriate. The history of the Prussian flag seems well done on the Flags of the World site, but I am not an expert.
