"Hong Kong" poster but simplified characters

[edit]

There is minimal info about this image, and the little info there is seems self-contradictory. It's called "Hong Kong film poster"; but Hong Kong (at the time and now) uses traditional Chinese characters (in which the film title would be "精武門"), whereas the poster is clearly in simplified characters ("精武门") only used in mainland /People's Republic of China.

Can someone clear this up with more info on this poster? E.g. is it really a mainland poster? Or maybe the HK marketer chose simplified characters for some reason ("nationalist" unity with PRC)?

Or provide another poster image that has more info?
