The molecule seems to be shown incorrectly; the blue nitrogen atoms should not have H atoms (white) attached.

In the crystalline form, EDTA is zwitterionic with carboxylic acids deprotonated, and amines protonated. -- Ed (Edgar181) 20:28, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
