Is this necessary?

I think so. The basic article is a "puff piece" for Earth Hour. I think it is OK to show that many people and many communities just aren't interested.Newell Post (talk) 02:39, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

i'm just concerned people are going to perceive this as wikipedians painting a scarlet letter on this community, singling it out. 22:39, 26 March 2010 User: Peterpumpkin87 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.4.65.105 (talk)

Not necessary at all. One light is turned off. 74.178.202.115 (talk) 04:06, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The basic article includes dozens of images of facilities turning off lights to support Earth Hour. Unless this article is just an advertisement for Earth Hour, it is OK to show one image to help make the point that there are plenty of people who have either never heard of Earth Hour, or don't support it, or just don't care.Newell Post (talk) 15:58, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
