Inaccurate and misleading

[edit]

This map is highly inaccurate and misleading. It shows a cliché oversimplification of the religious geography of the Netherlands, Flanders and French Flanders, most notably by claiming there are no Catholic-majority areas in provinces above the Great Rivers except in Twente. Moreover, it misses a source on which this is based, and a date, but whatever the date, I can assure you that this situation has never existed. This 1849 map shows how there are many Catholic-majority areas in especially Utrecht, North and South Holland, some in Gelderland, Zeeland and Overijssel outside of the areas highlighted and several more enclaves in the northern provinces File:Nederlandgodsdienst1849.PNG. I'm going to remove it from all articles it's used in. Nederlandse Leeuw (talk) 01:14, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
