Wikipedians, please try to be clear to readers about what this graph represents. Note that it is not adjusted for inflation or population change. Without adjusting for these, it can be misleading to the casual viewer. For example, because it doesn't adjust for inflation, it makes the stagflation period of the late 1970s look like a prosperous time for America. Also, since it does not adjust for population change, it does not represent the change in average personal net worth from year to year. Finally, this graph does not represent the change in net worth of the entire United States, just the household and non-profit sector. --JHP (talk) 01:17, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
