The subdivision of uralic seems strange: mordvinic and samoyedic are not considered near relatives. Instead, Mordvinic, saami and baltic finnic are considered near relatives with each other as far as I as a lay person have understood. Samoyedic may be more related with hungarian, khanty and mansi, I would guess. The exact relations are debated but these great lines seem to be generally accepted as well as the uralic language family itself. --Urjanhai (talk) 11:57, 5 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
