File talk:Austria-Hungary map.svg
I must note that the map should include some changes - it's slightly incorrect. The coastland of the City of Fiume (Rijeka) and the surroundings was not a part of Croatia-Slavonia as it is presented at the map - but a part of Hungary (so it should be of light green colour too).
Also, Bosnia and Herzegovina was annexed in 1908. All the other provinces were root, so it could be noted that BiH is a new one (perhaps with some decorative lines). --HolyRomanEmperor 16:31, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Also, Zara, not Spalato was the capital of Dalmatia. john k 03:49, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Recoloring
[edit]The green parts were supposed to show Hungary and the autonomous provinces in the Kingdom of Hungary (see the use of the image in Greater Hungary (political concept).
I am also notifying User_talk:Vearthy to see if he wants to do the recoloring. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.14.236.169 (talk) 15:59, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Number 16
[edit]I'm pretty sure that's Hungary, not "Österreich" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.91.137.76 (talk) 03:45, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
Names of cities
[edit]What's going on with the names of cities? In some of them (Lemberg, Czernowitz), we are using the German names which were typically used at the time. In others (Split, Opava, Brno, Ljubljana) we are using the modern names. Why? It should be all one or the other (I'd prefer names in use at the time, but either way would be acceptable). Also, Split was not the capital of Dalmatia - Zadar was. ETA - Ah, I see it was changed by User:Kirk with no discussion in 2009 to "English names", from previously having been all the names in use at the time. I'm not really clear on how to revert images, but this should be done. john k (talk) 17:32, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
