| Description |
English: The picture is a Greek Catholic icon depicting the prophet Zechariah as a high priest. The icon was painted in the end of the 18th century as part of the iconostasis of the Greek Catholic Cathedral of Hajdúdorog, Hungary. Zechariah's icon is placed on the third tier of the iconostasis, the so called Prophets tier. This icon is the second painting from the left.
Magyar: A kép Zakariás próféta görög katolikus ikonját ábrázolja, amelyen a prófétát Áronhoz hasonlóan főpapi öltözetben ábrázolták. Az ikont a 18. század végén festették, a hajdúdorogi görög katolikus székesegyház ikonosztázára. Zakariás ikonját az ikonosztáz harmadik sorában, az úgynevezett Próféta sorban találhatjuk. Ez az ikon a sorban balról a második festmény. |
