Summary

Description
English: Transmitter masts. I had seen these when I first arrived at Orleton the previous day. My route back to base this day took me past them. I later found out that this is the Woofferton Transmitting Station and makes mostly shortwave broadcasts. During the Cold War, it was used for transmitting "Voice of America" as it had higher power than other transmitter sites, thus overcoming Soviet jamming.
