English: Original Caption: KOREA KOREAN CONFLICT With the idea of spying in mind, this young North Korean Communist POW joined the Anti-Communists in their compound on Koje-do. After five months had passed, he requested that US officials return him to his "real" friends in the Communist compound. Upon hearing of this the Non-Communist POW's, in lieu of executing him, tatooed the South Korean flag on his chest, and "Anti-Communist" and "Against Russia" on each of his arms before returning him to the Communist compound. 18 July 1952.
