Description Photo portrait of Will Scott (1893-1964), author of The Cherrys series of children's books, and of the stage play The Limping Man, which was made into two films. The image is believed to have been a publicity shot, possibly for his first novel Disher, Detective, in 1925 when he was 32 years old.
