English: Two domes of the Wendelstein observatory. The 8.5 m dome in the foreground houses the Fraunhofer Telescope, a 2.0 m reflector, installed in 2011. The older dome in the background houses a 0.2 m Solar Telescope, which is no longer used for scientific observations, though it is still used for education and outreach purposes. |
